FLSA Collective Action Settlement
If you received a Notice of Settlement, Ardent's records show you worked in a position that used Kronos Private Cloud to track your hours between December 11, 2021 and February 17, 2022, and you may be eligible to take part in a settlement of claims for pay during the Kronos outage under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. To receive a settlement payment, you must submit a Consent to Join Form by the deadline shown below.

About This Settlement
Why did I receive this notice?
Vanessa Hill filed a lawsuit under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) against AHS Management Company, Inc. d/b/a Ardent Health Services and BSA Health System Management, LLC (together, “Ardent”). The lawsuit alleges that, during the Kronos outage — a cybersecurity incident affecting the Kronos Private Cloud payroll and timekeeping system that began on or about December 11, 2021 — employees were not accurately paid for all hours worked.
Ardent denies the allegations and denies any wrongdoing. The parties reached a settlement, which the Court approved on August 17, 2026. The settlement was reached without any admission of liability.
Who is included?
The Court ordered that notice of this case and the settlement be provided to:
All non-exempt employees, regardless of exact job, position held, or title, who were employed by Defendants and/or any of their affiliated entities in the United States from December 11, 2021 to February 17, 2022, who worked in a job position that used Kronos Private Cloud to track their hours or who would have used it but for the Kronos Outage.
What can I do?
If you received a Notice of Settlement and Consent to Join Form in the mail, you can join the settlement by submitting your Consent to Join Form — online on this website, or by mail, email or fax to the Settlement Administrator. Your estimated settlement amount is shown on the notice that was mailed to you. Please see the Important Dates above for the submission deadline.
What if I do nothing?
If you do not wish to participate in this settlement, you do not need to do anything. You will not be part of the settlement and you will not receive a settlement payment, but you will keep any rights you have to bring wage claims against Ardent.
